3. A two year M.A. English (A non-modular programme offered only at the Lucknow Campus)
4. A one year M.A.(Hons) in TESL/Linguistics/Phonetics (offered only at the Hyderabad Campus). After 20 credits:
Post-graduate Certificate in TESL/Linguistics and Phonetics After 40 credits: Post-graduate Diploma in
TESL/Linguistics /Phonetics After fulfilling 55 credits with an M.A thesis, M.A.(Hons) in TESL/
Linguistics/Phonetics.
5. M.A. (Full time) in Arabic /German/Russian/Spanish
6. M.A. (Distance Mode) in French/German/Russian/Spanish
7. Post-Graduate Certificate in the Teaching of German/Russian/Spanish
8. Post-Graduate Diploma in the Teaching of Arabic/German/Russian/ Spanish.
9. M.Phil. in English with specialisation in TESL/Linguistics & Phonetics/ English Literature.
10. M.Phil. in Arabic/Russian/Spanish.
11.Ph.D. in English with specialisation in TESL/Linguistics & Phonetics/ English Literature.
12. Ph.D. in Arabic/Russian
13. Post-Graduate Diploma in the Teaching of English (through Distance Mode)
14.M.Phil. in English (through Distance Mode) with specialisation in Linguistics and Phonetics/TESL/English Literature.
15.M.Phil. in Russian/Spanish (through Distance Mode)
16. Ph.D. in English (through Distance Mode) wirh
specialisation in Linguistics and Phonetics/TESL/English Literature
17. Ph.D. in English (ELT) (part-time)
Eligibility
For Courses 1,2 & 3 : A Graduate from a recognized University.
For Course 4 : An M.A. in English with 55% or its
equivalent for sponsored teachers with 5 years experience an M.A. in English (IInd Division) or an allied subject
(Linguistics/Education/Mass Communication/Psychology) with a high second class from any recognised
University. For Courses
5 & 6 : (a) A Bachelor's degree with the language concerned as an elective subject or as
second language (or) (b) A Bachelor's degree in any discipline and language proficiency in the foreign language
concerned equivalent to at least a two year diploma level course.
For Courses 7 & 8 : An M.A. in the language
concerned with at least a second class or grade C average (relaxable in the case of sponsored teachers with a
Master's degree in any subject and at least 5 years experience teaching the language at a recognised institution)
For Courses 9 & 14 : An M.A. in English at least second class or equivalent qualification in the case of sponsored
teachers of English with at least 5 years teaching experience either an M.A. in English or at least a high second
class (Grade B) M.A. in an allied subject-Linguistics, Education, Mass Conmmunication or Psychology and PGCTE
through distance mode or Semester 1 if the PFDTE/DES with a minimum GPA of 3.00 and without a Grade E.
For Courses 10 & 15 : An M.A. in the language concerned (for Arabic M.O.L.) with a high second class or grade B
average (55%) OR an M.A. in the language concerned (for Arabic , M.O.L) with grade C average and
PGCT/ OT with at least on overall grade C OR an M.A. in the language concerned (for Arabic M.O.L.) and a minimum of 5
years experience teaching the language concerned at any recognised Institution.
For Course 11 : An M.A. in
English at least a high second class (55% or above) or M.A. in English with a PG Diploma in the teaching of
English /English studies from the Institute at least Class IIA/Grade B average or an equivalent qualification.
For Course 12 : An M.A. in the language concerned (for Arabic A.O.L.) with a first class or grade A average OR M.A.
in the language concerned (for Arabic, M.O.L.) with at least second class or grade B average and PGC/PGDT with
at least a overall grade C OR M.Litt/M.phil or an equivalent qualification in the language concerned OR M.A. in the
language concerned (for Arabic, M.O.L) and a minimum of 7 years experience teaching for language at any
recognised University.
For Course 13 : An M.A. in English/M.A. with atleast second class in an allied subject
(Linguistics /Education/Mass Communication and Psychology) with 5 years experience of teaching English/M.A.
with at least a second class and with 5 years experience of teaching Methods of teaching English at
M.Ed./B.Ed. level and PGCTE from CIEFL or successful completion of Semester 1 of the residential PGDTE.
For Course 16 : An
M.Phil in English from a recognised University or M.Phil (CIEFL). Participants who have completed the course
work (ELT/Linguistics & Phonetics/English Literature with a GPA of 3.00. For Course 17 : An M.Phil in English
(ELT) from CIEFL.
